mum's new toys just arrrived! its the ultimate letter-head press set for cookies! Look at our wonderful masterpiece(s)! Ok, actually i'm biased, i only show what i did for david heh.
I want a tablet to draw... its so hard to transfer my sketches to the computer, esp when there is a certain hand-drawn style i want. time to save save save.

really a wonderful experience serving in this camp. really miss them soooo much, and hate myself for leaving so early to bake stupid cupcakes (below) and making a promise to bake them! argh. i really regret -baking the cupcakes. but i never regretted going for this camp. kids are such wonderful living things! they seem more living than us adults sometimes. really. so cute, so adorable, so full of curiosity and innocence, energy. and love. and yes, i designed the shirt. |

| Tamago-Tofu Salad =D |

Okay. To cheer myself up. I decided to replicate the Unagi Tofu Salad which my sister and I shared at Shokudo The Coffee House, yesterday. It had Unagi, raw tofu, tamago, jap cucumbers, sesame seeds & the usual veggies you see in any salad. It was quite good. And affordable too, its money-worth relatively to most cafes which overcharge and giveyou a tiny dish of less-than-satisfying bowl of salad.
Anyway. My Tamago is a failed attempt because I couldn't roll it like one. it just looks like a plain normal omelette which actually tastes like tamago, so that's a comforting point. In any case, the poorly done tamago was to be sliced thinly anyway haha so you won't actually know it failed till i told you so.

I miss Japan. Alot!! There is still so much to see... and i miss the food of course.. its simply heavenly! <3 Sushi to bits! Wish i can explore the WHOLE of arashiyama.. Kyoto is really beautiful. Osaka too has its own night beauty (my cam takes lousy night shots so the tower shots will be from wanho's) and Kobe. Kobe is simply romantic! Lucky I didn't scrap it and opt for 1 more day of shopping! People who went there always says its a must-see, now I know why. (And of coz Thanks to Candice who brought us ard the whole day!) Osaka is good for shopping only if you have the cash to spare i guess, if not, their cheaper stuff are from Thailand so there is really no point buying unless its Agnes B etc. lol

| hair cut! |

yay i got a new hair cut. i actually love to have hair cuts, only that i cant do that all the time because hair takes time to grow. This time i tried a bob, but... it wasn't as 'bob' as i wanted it to be! :( i wanted a shoulder length bob but.... it turns out to be... a schoolgirl kind of bob? -___- but I guess its still better than what I got from the CCK neighborhood 2 years ago. And QJ loves it =D but my waves are getting in the way again, my hair has a feisty life of its own. I really need a stylist to cut it in a way that suits its stubborn attitude.
and i just ate passionfruit swiss roll *yummy!*
and i just got scolded by QJ for planning a bad itinerary due to my poor geographical bearings! o.O |

| Atheists' biggest lie |

it seems that the more we try to speak out, the more intense the spiritual battle is. and it really makes me wonder, doesn't atheists read up on ALL religions first before making a decision not to believe in a God? They make the biggest contradictory statements and don't get it. They subscribed to good and evil, but if there is no God, what do they ascribe good and evil to? There is nothing because there are no morals to began with. They don't believe in having faith, but they have it all the time in their workplace, subscribing to theories they deem true yet at the same time thinks that if a lie can be repeated over time it becomes truth - then, isn't their life a big big lie?
Sometimes, life isn't so hard to understand after all. |

| 10 Promises to my Dog |

a pretty great movie. wasn't really interested at first because well.. uh.. i don't like animals.. and pets... and quanju was just trying to persuade me to watch it in hope that he can keep a dog in the house next time. (i will CONSIDER first and NO Jack russels.) It was very touching, very sweet. although the ending is somewhat cliche, everything about the golden retriever is cute and adorable. Well, I wouldn't mind a dog like that if (1) I got a house as big as Akira's, (2) a dog as obedient as Socks. Also pls note that quanju dog is a TERROR. That Jack Russel is like the dog from hell. He hates me to the core, and i intensely dislike him. I have never known how "cute" he used to be because when i started going out with quanju, he was already a demon dog.

| Saints' spirit |

Training and playing with my fellow saints-team mates have never been better. Its just too bad we only trained 3 weeks before the actual games. What a waste! We couldn't even show 50% of our strength! (I sincerely believe we are that good lol.. Okay maybe still short of a big big centre, but Alice's height isn't that bad). Its just a tad bit frustrating when all we can say is "we didnt train" for all the bad plays we have - which is true, we aren't making excuses; just that we can never say "we did our best" - coz we obviously couldn't at this point.
And of coz I really want to slap myself for injuring my ankle for a match which is not worth my effort. That is plain stupidity on my part, plain impatience of my part. I totally REGRET. Now I am likely to sit out for the rest of the season coz (1) I am injured (2) I will be in Japan when my ankle is better. argh! (eunice you're a total idiot!)
I hope we stay together and play for next year. I hope the rest would still want to try again, coz it really feels good to play together again - knowing its not just another 外队 where the main goal is to win money and fight for places, but a team where players truly enjoy playing together as one - and win of course. |

yay i found another friend to add! - Joanne! ok this is bad, i created this to write random things and it sort of make me want to write more random things like this. tmr is my LAST paper! YAY. but it is also my MOST hated paper taught by my MOST hated teacher in NTU-SCI. omg, He really haunts me till the very end, such a merciless soul! |

oh woe to me! I've yet again distracted myself by making this livejournal thingy. My previous blog has died (yet again) and this "new" blog-cum-random ramblings is inspired by a lovely friend of mine - who is also my dear guildie and farming nakama. If I've known I'd take so much time customizing and choosing the layout for this, I would have leveled Rozynn. And tis strange coz no one know abt this so my guess is that the only person who will be reading this is that farming nakama of mine. |
